With a policy of only utilizing the finest quality fabrics, I like to blend their rich textures and colors to create machine quilted and beautifully hand-finished garments that are quilted and reversible. Elegant yet versatile, the jackets and vests are wildly colorful on one side, reversing to a more subdued side, displaying the quilting.

A strong proponent of recycling has led to several jacket styles that are unlined, some then coordinated with brocades or tapestry. Each garment is a unique blend of textures, colours, and techniques while some styles are tastefully enhanced with knitting, beadwork, and handmade buttons.

At Deanna Gauthier Gallery & Boutique, a charming & intimate new atelier in Invermere British Columbia, 2 hours west of Banff, Alberta in the Rocky Mountains, paintings, mosaics, wall hangings, and reclaimed antique furnishings are interspersed with "wearable art".
